I decided to state my opinion on the new bill that just got passed by the House of Representatives. This one desition to ban "sanctuary" jurisdictions in Texas. This is one of the few discutimos that has been made recently. That one decision to ban sanctuaries led to the agreement to not only ban the only place where immigrants can go and shelter to not be deported in shame in front of their families, that punishment doesn't stop there. They have also decided to "extends the scope of the bill and allows local peace officers to question the immigration status of people they legally detain. " the article states. This is unlawful and unjust. This isn't the vision of life liberty and persist of happiness. This is just wrong. People are being filled away from their freedom and their rights.
